Joseph Okonkwo was born in Anam, Anambra State Nigeria on April 04, 1925. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

Dad I love you. I love you for the honest life you lived. I love you for your strength of character. I love you for the care you gave my sibblings and I as we were growing up. I remember the last thing you said to me at Onitsha in 2000 when I visited you at your sick bed. you told me to be focused and you told me ije awele. though I grieve on your demise, I have solace that you are with the angels. sleep on dad. your lovely son - Barth
